Meeting a friend and wanted to go for a walk somewhere different last week and came across Reigate Hill online.  Its actually a national trust and didn't realise it was so close to me!  There is a small free car park with a little cafe/kiosk (with outdoor picnic tables only) were we had lunch before heading home.

The car park is in the middle of Reigate Hill and Gatton park.  We decided to do the hill walk, the wooded paths took us to bits of an old fort and some beautiful countryside views.  There was also a bomb crater perfect for rolling down and climbing back up! There was further we could have gone but Oliver was very tired that day, so it would be nice to go back and explore further another time.  We also didn't get to Gatton park so that is now on my list of things to do this summer!

I would recommend this if you want a quiet walk somewhere local with countryside views, it was perfect to get some fresh air and it is free!
